Recently, we partnered with Cloudaliv to implement AWS best practices for security in our environment. Online Event Management Company is a content management, webcasting, and production platform that helps companies to streamline the process of managing their online events and make them more effective.<\/span><\/p>

The Challenge<\/b><\/h6>

Online Event Management Company knew that securing any system was crucial. They wanted to make sure their existing AWS environment was up to industry standards, identify any vulnerabilities they may have, and ensure they had a process in place to maintain continuous compliance. <\/span><\/p>

The Solution<\/b><\/h6>

Cloudaliv evaluated Client’s cloud infrastructure and identified key gaps that needed to be addressed. Cloudaliv remedied these issues and implemented measures to mitigate future risks, implementing governance throughout the organization for improved security. In this case, the company was able to make its infrastructure even more secure by leveraging AWS best practices, such as automating and securing against breaches.<\/span><\/p>

Cloudaliv then stepped in to continue the implementation of security controls and policies, including access control and identity management, as well as monitoring for malicious activity. The organization was also able to leverage Cloudaliv’s expertise with industry-leading technologies such as GuardDuty, WAF, and Config. These services enabled the Client to detect potential threats before they occur and take preventive action against them. Moreover, Cloudaliv worked with the company to build a secure DevOps pipeline that included continuous monitoring of its cloud environment, allowing it to quickly identify any vulnerabilities or misconfigurations. In addition, the team provided recommendations on hardening their applications by implementing strong authentication methods such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or Single Sign On (SSO). All these measures allowed the Client to protect itself from data breaches while avoiding unnecessary complexity in their operations.<\/span><\/p>

The Outcome<\/b><\/h6>

As a result of implementing the AWS security best practices, the online event management company has seen a significant reduction in the number of security incidents. There have been no reported data breaches or other major security incidents since implementing the new security measures. The company’s IT team is now able to focus on more strategic initiatives, rather than fire-fighting security issues.
